Three entrepreneurial Leadership traits to exhibit to SMEs staff.

Just as a parent or guardian shapes the behaviour of their household, so business leaders determine the culture of a company.
You have heard people say, “That is not how we do things here.” That is because that organisation or society has defined what is acceptable and what isn’t. If you join such organization or society, you are supposed to live within the set standards.

Most of the time, what is defined as suitable or otherwise may even not be written but rather implied and established by the consistent actions of the leader or leaders in that organization. Therefore, a leader must exhibit a sense of responsibility through his or her actions. To shape your organisation, especially in its infancy, as you prepare it for global dominance and generations to come, strive to exhibit these three leadership qualities.
Problem solver
The office of a leader is a busy one. The leader will always be confronted by many challenges to which he or she is expected to have solutions.
Conflict among staff will arise, and it will require the leader to stand firm and have them solved. Staff productivity and the business’ overall bottom line will need the leader’s guidance from time to time, and so will individual staffs’ problems.
That is why before you assume that leadership office, which comes with perks and incentives, you must invest in acquiring knowledge in problem-solving skills. An inept leader will escalate the issues at hand and cost the company a fortune, and no team would wish to be under such a character.
Supportive character
Have you ever wondered why some leaders are revered while others are despised?
In every company, staff will respect supportive leaders who motivate, guide, and provide a conducive environment that helps them achieve their dreams. This supportive character stems from your interest in genuinely knowing the people you work with and their everyday challenges.

Have you bothered to find out their aspirations regarding career, investment, family, or the challenges they face in executing their work? A nurtured good relationship between leaders and staff will always reveal so much to discuss and find joint solutions. When your team performs better because you have enabled them to, certainly, the credit goes to the leader. One must consciously learn the skills needed to become a better supportive leader.
Consulting and involving character
All the hiring done by companies is based on the need to solve specific problems in their industry. Since all departments are interconnected, the problem or innovation of each will affect the entire business. Therefore, as a leader, remember that one thing that motivates staff is involving them in the company’s decisions. If a new product or service is about to be launched, let every member of your staff be the first to know. Do not limit it to only the top executive or just a unit of the organization alone. No one is a monopoly of ideas, so consult your team and let them contribute ideas that will make the business sustainable. You will be amazed at how creative your team is if you let them freely express themselves. Additionally, it makes the staff own problems that arise and therefore are more willing to be the face of the company in times of difficulty.
Growing a company is not an easy task and a lot of it depends on how the team is led. Therefore, I trust that these few tips will help you as an entrepreneur
