Biography

The Rt Rev. Dr. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa holds a Dip Educ (MUK) B.Div. (ETIEA), M.Ed. (Leeds Univ), PhD (Leeds Univ).

He is currently Bishop of Ankole Diocese and Chancellor of Bishop Stuart University in Mbarara. He was previously Senior Lecturer and Dean Faculty of Education at Uganda Christian University, Mukono. Before that he served as Deputy Head-teacher at Kibubura Girls SSS and at Ntare School. He is a member of several professional bodies: International Advisory Board Member British, Journal of Religious Education (BJRE).
