The objective of the YEP initiative is to Use Leadership, Innovation & Entrepreneurship programs to Connect the Youth to the Innovation Economy through the development of Appropriate Entrepreneurial Attitudes, Skills and Spirit to tackle Socio-economic Challenges the Entrepreneurial Way.
Desired Outcomes
- Life and work skills. Helping the youth develop entrepreneurial skills and attitudes that prepare them for success in the “innovation economy,” whether or not they run their own enterprise.
- Enterprise development. Helping young people design, develop, launch and grow viable businesses that can create income and assets for them.
- Engagement in Innovative outcomes. Increasing levels of engagement and improving creativity and intellectual excellence, therefore reducing dropout rates in tertiary education in Africa.

- Youth & Resources Management (Time, Money and Relationships)

- Basic Leadership & Entrepreneurial skills for the future.

Ages 18– 30.
Program Best Practices
- The YEP programmes equip the youth to develop innovative and self-leadership skills that lead to increased levels of the following success related skills associated with leadership and entrepreneurship development:(Teamwork, Leadership, Money management, Creativity, Innovation, Ability to recognize and assess opportunity, Problem solving, Time Management & Planning).
- The entire programme (modules 1, 2 & 3) features real-life role models and business leaders in the programme delivery to inspire the youth and contribute to their motivation and program participation.
Duration: Five (5) Days –Monday to Friday.
